Student FAQs:

What is a Writing Center?
-A Writing Center is a student led organization that provides an environment in which students help other students with their writing assignments. Our Writing Center is asynchronous, meaning that we provide suggestions on papers that students send to us, while not editing the work. We don't do their work for them. Instead, we provide a healthy outlet for student improvement through peer tutoring/assessments.
When are you open?
-We are open on A block during all 5 lunches. You may submit your papers at any time.
Do you tutor all grades and subjects?
-We tutor all grades and all subject-writing (we do NOT tutor other subjects, but we can work on writing for other non-english classes)!
What does the online tutoring process look like?
1.) Submit your paper through our website.
2.) Tutors work on it during the designated time.
3.) Voila! You will receive your paper on the next A block!
How long does it take to get back?
Once you submit it, our tutors will begin diligently working on it during all lunch periods on A block! It will be sent back to you with helpful comments and feedback within the next 2 A Blocks (48 hours). If there is a period where you send in the paper over the weekend, our tutors will review your work on the following A block.
